RUNNING DOWN A DREAM

The winners of this year’s Lucky 10 competition spent six months training for
the half marathon. For many, it was a life-changing event. One of the Lucky 10, Lou
Pollock (far left), celebrated his long-dreamed-of race finish, saying: “All of us have
overcome personal challenges, and I congratulate each of you. For me, every step
today—even the painful ones—was filled with joy in being part of such a wonderful
team. Your smiles and encouragement lifted me across the finish line. Go Team
Tri-City!”
