Tri-City Hospital Foundation’s
Diamond Ball, to take place on
Saturday, November 10, has earned
a reputation as one of San Diego
North County’s premier galas.
The beautiful event, co-chaired
by community leaders Dawn Hall
Cunneen and Ellen Stotmeister, will
take place at the Park Hyatt Aviara
Resort in Carlsbad.
The event will be highlighted by
the presentation of the esteemed
Legacy Award to Life Technologies
for its humanitarian work dedicated
to improving the human condition
with innovative life science products
and applications. The award will be

Tobi Ferguson, president of the
Foundation, added: “This year we
have many reasons to celebrate and
be proud of our community hospital.
We are deeply indebted to Dawn,
Ellen and our entire committee for
making the Foundation’s Diamond
Ball a dazzling event.”

Since its formation in 2006, the
Corporate Council has donated nearly
$600,000 to support an array of health
services and technologies for the
medical center, including biliblankets
to treat newborns with jaundice, fetal
monitors, the da Vinci Si HD Robotic
Surgical System and the NICView
Webcam System.

health and wellness,” said Joseph
Mason, chairman of the Corporate
Council and vice president of

Health, Inc. “Through the council’s
directed giving, our members make
a significant impact on the quality of
care our employees, colleagues and
neighbors receive at Tri-City, which is
very gratifying.”
